The region we hunt is in the heart of Zone 13 East, which continues to have the highest number of bears harvested in Quebec. The extremely high number of bears per square kilometer is a key factor in our hunter's success. Traditionally more than 90% of our hunters have an opportunity to harvest a bear. There is very high density of bears in our area. We start bailing in the middle of May and except hunters till the end of June. Hunters may use rifle, muzzleloader, bow or crossbow. If you are an archery hunter, you will love our up close and personal bait locations!
We are a small family-run operation and thrive on personalized service. To ensure quality service, we average 4 to 6 hunters per week.

One of the highly sought after black bear color phases, the cinnamon phase, can be found in our area. Our black bears average 5 to 6 feet, with some occasionally larger. The grizzly bear in our area average 7 to 8 feet, with the occasional bear breaking the 9 foot mark.

The hunt will take place in the Chilkat Bald Eagle Preserve, and there will be thousands of Bald Eagles feeding on salmon in the same location we will be hunting.
Many eagles will also be flying and as they continue to feed on salmon with the bears. The eagles occasionally attempt to perch on our heads if we are exposed and sitting very still, and the Brown Bears do not recognize us as a threat unless they wind us.
